Overview
Fuse (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides tools for brands and creators to discover, analyze, and collaborate. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information in connection with our websites, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
Information We Collect
- Account Information: name, email, profile details you provide when you create an account or interact with our Services.
- Usage Data: pages viewed, features used, and interactions within the app to help improve performance and usability.
- Payment Information: if you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by our provider (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Creator Data: public creator/channel data sourced from platforms' public APIs or public pages for discovery and analytics purposes.
- Log and Device Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and similar technical information for security and diagnostics.
- YouTube Data: when you connect your YouTube channel, we access certain data from your YouTube account as described in the "YouTube and Google Data" section below.
YouTube and Google Data
Fuse uses YouTube API Services to provide analytics and insights for your YouTube channel. By connecting your YouTube account, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
Data We Access
When you connect your YouTube channel via Google OAuth, we request access to the following data:
- Channel Information: Your channel name, description, profile picture, subscriber count, video count, and total view count.
- YouTube Analytics: Performance metrics including views, watch time, audience demographics, traffic sources, and engagement data for your channel and videos.
- Revenue Data: If you have a monetized channel and grant permission, estimated revenue and monetization metrics.
How We Use YouTube Data
- Display your channel analytics on your Fuse dashboard;
- Calculate growth trends, predictions, and performance insights;
- Compare your performance against benchmarks (anonymized and aggregated);
- Send you reports and alerts about your channel performance (if enabled).
We do not use your YouTube data to serve advertisements, sell to third parties, or for any purpose other than providing you with analytics and insights about your own channel.
OAuth Token Storage
When you authorize Fuse to access your YouTube data, Google provides us with OAuth tokens. These tokens are encrypted using industry-standard encryption (AES-256) before being stored in our database. We use these tokens solely to fetch your YouTube data on your behalf. Tokens are automatically refreshed as needed and old tokens are securely overwritten.
Revoking Access
You can revoke Fuse's access to your YouTube data at any time by:
- Disconnecting your YouTube channel from your Fuse account settings; or
- Visiting your Google Account Permissions page and removing Fuse from your authorized apps.
When you revoke access, we will delete your stored OAuth tokens. Historical analytics data that was previously fetched may be retained in accordance with our data retention policy, but we will no longer be able to access new data from your YouTube account.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Fuse's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use YouTube data to provide and improve the Services described in this policy, and we do not use this data for serving ads or transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide our Services or as required by law.
How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services;
- Process subscriptions and transactions;
- Personalize features and content;
- Monitor reliability, performance, and security;
- Communicate with you about updates, support, and marketing (where permitted);
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Analytics and Tracking
We use analytics and measurement tools to understand feature usage and improve the product. These may include session or event-based analytics. Based on this app’s configuration, implementations may include:
- PostHog for product analytics and event tracking;
- Google Tag Manager to manage measurement and marketing tags;
- Kissmetrics for customer analytics; and
- Application logging for diagnostics and security.
Where required, we will seek consent for optional cookies/trackers. You can control cookies via your browser settings. Some features may not function properly without certain cookies enabled.
Payments
Subscriptions are processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe. We receive limited information related to your payment (e.g., status and basic billing details) and do not store full card numbers. Please refer to your payment provider’s privacy policy for more details.
Data Storage and Security
We use secure, industry-standard infrastructure and controls to protect personal information. Data may be stored in managed databases such as MongoDB Atlas and in our application hosting environments. We apply access controls, encryption in transit, and monitoring to safeguard data.

- Service Providers that help deliver our Services (e.g., hosting, analytics, payments);
- When you ask us to share or otherwise give consent;
- For legal, compliance, or safety reasons (e.g., to comply with law or protect rights);

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type.

- Control cookies through your browser settings;
- Request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it, subject to applicable laws.
International Data Transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Where applicable, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
