Frequently Asked Questions
Where Does Fuse Get Its YouTube Data?
Every public creator profile on Fuse is built from the YouTube Data API v3, using public endpoints only. Subscriber counts, lifetime views, and video counts refresh on a daily cycle. Each profile displays a visible last-updated date so you can judge freshness at a glance. Methodology last reviewed June 2026.
Earnings estimates are calculated, not reported. Fuse applies category-specific CPM ranges (the ad rate per 1,000 views, which varies widely by niche) to a channel’s recent view counts. The result covers estimated ad revenue only: sponsorships, channel memberships, merchandise, and affiliate income are excluded, so a creator’s real income is often higher than the estimate shown.
Fuse never accesses private analytics for channels it does not own. That includes click-through rate, watch-time retention, and actual revenue, all of which are visible only to the channel owner inside YouTube Studio. Creators who claim their profile can connect their own account via OAuth to enhance their page with first-party data.
Corrections and removals: if you are a creator and want your profile corrected or removed, email [email protected] and we will resolve it, usually within one business day.
